Finally got some time to get the rest of the floor done. Even got my son Gage to help roll out the epoxy and throw the flakes. The last big step is to get the plumbers in and finish the bathroom and the sinks.

I finally got my Garages 101 cabinets put together and mounted. I am really happy with them. About the only thing left is to get a counter top made.

This is exactly what I want!! Thanks for sharing the photos of your buildout and the interior. I would do the same size but go 16' high to get our 5th wheel into one bay.

Can you give us some details on your heating system? Type/design and cost? Tks!

It is a standard hi eff. Lenox mounted horizontally with central air. Same thing they would use in a home. Originally the contractor was going to run insulated duct above the ceiling and have multiple registers around the perimeter. I thought this would be a major pain to install and I didn't like the idea of cutting holes in the ceiling for 1 and 2 taking the heated air out into the cold then back into the garage. So I discussed the single trunk duct idea. They said the only downfall they could think of was I would need to use a ladder to change the furnace filter.

And as far as cost goes I don't have a number on that. The heating and air was all part of a bid that included plumbing.

Tks for the details on the HVAC... I like the look of of the single duct and agree cutting in would have been a pain..

Great shop!

just saw this post and it's great! Are you using metal sheets for the interior walls and ceiling or is it vinyl? The reason I'm asking is to determine how you are handling the potential for condensation in the ceiling and walls. Can you tell me how you are insulating and preventing the condensation...that's my worry...

This July I opened up the garage for our first garage party and had some condensation issues. The floor was covered in water and the cars were also condensing moisture. This had not been an issue when I kept everything closed up. But once I opened it up to the humid Midwest summer everything was getting wet.

I bought a 70 pint per hour dehumidifier and had it under control in less than 24 hours. I keep the dehumidifier set at 50% relative humidity and have had no further problems.
