Always loved that three-carburetor set-up. Used to have a couple customers who owned those things. Everything about them was odd.

Hahaha, my shop is literally a half mile from Tony's. Grew up going there, great family. Haven't been in awhile since it was sold, but still love their chicken parm dinner!

I wish I could say we worked on more of the old "strokers," but unfortunately not so much. You might get a kick out of these old relics though...

Those cars were a hoot: bass-ackwards hoods, tri-power carb set up... what's not to like?
I was only 23 when I got shipped to Yelm, and I had three customers who owned those things - all three of them were younger than me at the time.
That was a weird client base out there - had five customers who drove Opel Kadetts as their DD. One of them commuted to the Everett Boeing plant daily. Go figure.
