I was hoping to score a just as good "cheap" set. Thanks for the information.I found these to be very good quality just not as good as the full rbrt design. Only slightly gripper then a regular set.

McMaster
Website shows them as $24.98. Comments from last BF season state they weren’t available in stores as advertised. What !?!? Bottom boxes ?

Lang makes some great stuff!

That’s it! The SAE set they shipped initially was missing one wrench. They overnight, Saturday delivery sent a full replacement set, and I returned the original. I offered to just have them send me the missing piece, but they insisted on the wholemset, so we could be sure they match. McMaster has great customer service.I'm assuming this is the metric set, yes?

I've been wearing the old-school double-layer Duofolds for my entire life. This time, I realized that my bottoms from a few years back were actually shot full of holes and the waistbands were dying too late in the season. Everywhere I looked was out of my size--medium. So I settled for the medium-weight, single-layer "wicking" bottoms instead. So far, so good--very comfortable and very warm. At 45F, I have my sleeves rolled up while working outside.Did you laugh at the cold? Oh wait, that was Damart long underwear.

Don't know why my reply didn't come through but it was quick and witty and went something like this: They do have the seat bottom for my truck, now I need motivation. Will probably look at ordering one to pick up on one of my work trips across the border in the new year.www.garagejournal.com
Have you tried the modern wool baselayers? Smartwool is the first big name, but L.L. Bean's "Cresta" base layers are just as good for a little less (or a lot less come spring.) Also, REI, and many other brands now. The itch is gone!

Started a new job a few weeks ago with a lot of pipe and tube fittings. The Icon pliers wrench should help considerably. Really want a smaller pair and might end up buying the knipex 150mm version anyway.

Do you have a link for that Packout saw kit?

Curious what you use those for? I hear Robertson and I think 3" deck screws.
I use them in furniture making all the time. I strongly prefer them to Phillips.Curious what you use those for? I hear Robertson and I think 3" deck screws.

This. I use #1 and #2 almost exclusively for electrical. Most wood screws that I use are torxMany electrical fixtures use the ROBERTSON fastener.....
Much easier to deal with in a tight spot than a conventional screw...
Have a Ford up the shop, just now ...for radiator hose replacements (all hoses/belts/T Stat....)...
When the top boxes showed up at my local store I bought one for my boy for Christmas (he’s 4). My wife liked it so much she ordered 8 more for all the nieces and nephews. She also ordered a bottom box for our boy. I think they’re pretty cool for what they are. And it made my Christmas shopping for the kids a whole lot easier!
