New (used) tool arrivals:

NOS US Made Craftsman Screw Drive Set
Used 5 Inch US Made Craftsman Vise
NOS Fuller Made in Japan C-Clamp Set

Ebay is a dangerous place after several beers.
I've been considering a breathalyzer interlock on my card.... Not just for Ebay, but for anywhere after perusing this thread! "Gee, that's a nifty tool that I don't have and right here's a handy linky to it... OOH! only twenty bucks...."

Went to settle up my tab, but…….I just couldn’t resist. Got a bit off for them though. Maybe next time I’ll have more will power. BTW Thin jaws are Spanish IMG_8691.jpeg
I have these thin jaw ones. Channellock, hecho en España tambien.

Used them the other day on a threaded headset for one of my bikes. I have a headset wrench that fits, but it was just a little loose fitting.

I think they're making them for both CL and SO.

Ocean State Job Lot is quite different than Tractor Supply. They buy closeout items in bulk from other major retailers and sell it at a discount. Their inventory changes very frequently (brands/models) as a result.

The name comes from the fact that they started in RI (as did I, LOL).

I’m guessing they’re similar to Ollie’s? We got to Ollie’s in Terre Haute or Vincennes, IN all the time usually not much in the way of tools but we buy a lot of stuff like sheets and towels.

Wheel hub removal tool. Admittedly, it’s a knock off of the lisle….but it’s half the price and it comes in a case. I’m a sucker for a case.

IMG_0326.jpeg

Love my Lisle wheel bearing tool but the WORST part about it is they give you NOTHING to store it in... Seriously, a cardboard box that disintegrates after two uses? Sheesh... I ended up buying a PFC case with foam made in USA that fit perfectly without even having to cut the foam. Link in case anyone else with a Lisle 40100 wants a case for it.

Sounds like it. They usually have lots of seasonal stuff, decent selection of housewares and kitchen goods, but only a very small tool section.

Bought a router motor to use in my router lift. I've had the lift for some time. The motor will also fit my PC fixed & plunge bases. It's variable speed and soft-start - a big improvement over the PC690 standard motor (I hope).

Woodpeckers had the motor on sale for $60 off.

This is where I got my wedges. Gave one to my son. I am amazed how often I use them!

Real good price if they are in fact 4130 (some aren't)
I got mine from 12vtools.com, little spendier, but good folks, and included stickers! 😁

The Milwaukee bug has infected me bad.

I realized I don't wanna have to go out to the new pole barn every time I want a 1/4" driver in the house so I came up the idea of leaving the Dewalt in the house tool box and equip the pole barn with Milwaukee tools.

Weak excuse to buy new tools I know.

When I die... the following Estate Sale will be epic.
Glad I won't be here for it...lol

I also have a quite extensive WWI and WWII firearm, bayonet and web gear collection.

Out of fear my wife would let it go cheap, I have made a spreadsheet of weapons and accessories with what I paid for them and their appraised value. I update it about every year or so. It's in the sealed binder in the safe labeled "OPEN WHEN IM DEAD"

I probably should start adding tools to it....lol

Since everybody here appears to be a big fan of the Kobalt and HF wee promotional tool chests, here's a 15 minute review by America's favorite acerbic forklift repairman. He's known for mocking fools in the world of tools and construction and industry, but he also does some product reviews.

Video includes tale of Snap On tool cabinet woe, and a very quick review of two clamps from HF. ("Berger", another fake brand within HF that's meant to sound like some respectable clamp brand? Bessey?)

Heard the Snap on version is in development, will retail for $699.00 plus shipping on Black Friday.

I am a firm believer in to each their own - none of my business how people spend their own money, but........

I really don't get the fascination with these little boxes.

I've bought a couple three-packs from them after getting a single. I've got a several spread through my garage, one in my travel roll and I've given a couple away as gifts. I use them super often - way more than I expected (hence why I have five floating around).

Newest addition to the good old work box. My Matco guy still hasn’t shown up with my order from July but he is alive cause he finally responded to my text. 😂 Bought this ratchet online from Matco. I think that Matco makes my favorite ratchets out of the tool truck brands, but the jury is still out as I don’t have a ton of time behind my 100 tooth Snappys yet.
