I've used a lot of them for oil transferring at previous jobs. Don't know the specific brand though. They were completely plastic. Seemed to work well enough.

ARO used to make these types of pumps and they did use some plastic in theirs. There are lots of brands out there. The Pump and Tank distributors sell them.

FA966EAA-821C-4416-A8AA-4C53D62DE122.jpegThis pump replaced the gear pump on my maple syrup filter press. The original pump was an Oberdorfer half inch gear pump with leaded bronze castings for the body. HORRORS!!! I replacedit with an upgraded “lead free” pump that only lasted two years. The diatomaceous earth filter aid wore out the gears, and they had already been discontinued.
This pump is aluminum, and came with food grade certifications for all the materials in it.
I like this one a lot better. I can just set the air pressure to the maximum for the filter, and the pump just stalls if the filter plugs. I did have some problems trying to run it remotely. The hoses I used could not stand the pressure at high temperature. Hard plumbing it with stainless piping cured that. The gear pump just kept going, and turned the press into a lawn sprinkler. Not fun with 190 degree Syrup.

I also have a cheap one from Amazon for pumping used oil into the tank for my used oil furnace in the garage.

Here is my 2" graco 2150 unit on my work trailer . Its setup for spraying asphalt sealer down . 3/4" outlets 1 for spray wond and other for bulk transfer hose . Then the surge can on top to take out most of the pulse wave when its switches sides / diaphragms .

We had a couple of Graco (IIRC) stainless models--like your larger one--for product transfer at the brewery years ago. We ended up using low-shear centrifugal pumps instead, and about paid for the replacements with what we got for the Gracos! Ours were air-driven and horrible air-hogs that exceeded our compressor capacity. Loud as hell, too.

Each job has a best option pump for sure . And if no muffler in the exhaust then yes LOUD otherwise they are quiet . They do like air yes that for sure .

The 2 sandpiper units have the G for the first letter in the model and can be used with compressed natural gas in place of air . More oil field stuff . But also no difference if feed by reg old compressed air .

We mostly got rid of the diaphragm pumps because there was no reason to use them. The idea was that they'd be gentle on the finished beer as it went to be packaged--bottles or kegs back then--but the tanks it was being pumped from were pressurized. Why use a pump when pressure does the job?

The centrifugal pumps move wort--the stuff that becomes beer after fermentation.

Those air operated diaphrgm pumps are very expensive new,and I found them to be good sellers when you get hold of them........another type of diaphragm pump is the drainage contractors type that have an engine driven eccentric to work the diaphragm ,and will pump muddy water and even watery mud.

Years ago working on a drilling rig offshore we had these type of pumps - air operated. One day I was cleaning out shaker pits and above me they had a 4" pump running and the discharge hose was over 100' long - went down to a boat. Those pumps if they lost prime you would have to pop one of the ears on the discharge line to get it going again. One of the hands came along above me and was trying to do this, but because of the volume of mud (under relatively low pressure) in the discharge hose that thing blew off there like a balloon you let the air out of. I stood up out of the pit and the dude looked like one of those cartoon characters that got blown up. black from head to toe - overalls in tatters. He didn't get hurt though, outside of a little rash and needed to change underwear
