Compact Air Hose Reel, can't find one small enough.

I have an I-Beam in the center of my garage and a limited space to install my hose reel on the ceiling. The maximum space is 15", I can't find ANY retractable hose reels that small, it can be wide like the hand crank ones are. Do they make a wide retractable hose reel? Every one I find is 19" and that won't work.

mount one on it's side with another guide to point the hose down, or get crafty & cut the OD down on one( obviously loose some length on the hose)

I did see the first one, but it's only 20'. I will need to see if I really need a longer hose or not.

Harbor freight's central pneumatic 25' x 3/8" hose reel is exactly 15" from the mounting plate to the hose guide.

I just looked and measured my driveway and I would like a 35' hose, 50' would be overkill.

you could always use a manual hose reel, plumbed backwards so you plug it in & reel it out to the driveway ... maybe not answering your question, but maybe an option.

I keep my air hose reel, along with the compressor, back of this panel that has a crawl space back of it - that way it isn't intruding into the garage / shop space. Is there a location where this could work for you?

Nope, It's a garage with cinder block walls, my compressor is tucked in the opposite corner. My hose is hung above so I have to squeeze between my car to get the hose. I should have known it was a bad idea. I have never had a hose reel.

Unless you shorten it yourself, you are going to need to deal with a 50 footer
