I'd be weirded out thinking of the 1000's of dead people that rode on that thing.

Kinda neat though...

Cool and creepy at the same time. Could be beneficial for someone wanting to store heavier items in a garage attic. Easier and maybe safer than wrestling heavy items up those folding ladder/door things common for attic access.

kind of off topic a little here but their is an ex funeral home down the road from where I lived about a year ago, funeral home closed down for a couple years, someone then opens a cafe in it :wtf: needless to say that didn't last long, now a family with 3 kids live in it  a little strange to say the least

That's a deal to die for!
I do know if I could undertake such a project as installing that lift.
How much dead weight can that hold, i wonder?

If that were near me I'd totally grab it. My project is going to have an attic storage area and that would be perfect. I agree it is sorta creepy lol.

My dad grew up in a funeral home. It was the family business. He actually got a chopper style bicycle from saving and sending in labels off of embalming fluid containers!

I can just see that happening nowadays.

Funny how the ad says it lifted "things" up one story.

OSHA approved for dead people only. It looks like a nice lift, it would probably pick a thousand pounds or more. You may even be able to make it lower more by adding new cables. $175 sounds pretty reasonable, but I try to never pay what they are asking, offer them $125. They may tell you to drop dead.
