4500lb. rating is about all you can make out on this Crown pallet jack. I'm having trouble finding information on this older model with foot valve .
I need to replace seals, but not sure what fits.
Any suggestions, links, ideas etc ?
Thanks.

Is this a power pallet jack?

Last time I went to rebuild a Crown manual pallet jack, I ended up buying a new one. They're basically disposable now.

If manual and you're intending to restore it, buy a good set of roll-pin punches. Those things are held together entirely with roll pins.

You're probably going to have the best luck pulling old seals and taking to mom n pop style hydraulic shop that will still order some of the by size and dimension. If you pay a shop to do it, you'll have twice the cost into repair than replacement. May call Hercules in Florida with specs n pics of old parts too. Not sure if they'll sell direct or not tho.

I see some light indents of what might be a model stamp. If so, try this...use a sharpie n mark over that area to fill the letters, then lightly wipe off that area so the marker only stays in the indent stamp.

I worked maintenance in the '80s and rebuilt old Milton hand trucks, and BT as well but not Crown.
The thing is built like a tank , but was overloaded . I can't see just trashing it because of an O-ring.

I could get a few numbers but some of the serial number is just gone.

It's a shame that a lousy O-ring is keeping this hand trucks on the sidelines.

Crown is an American company, and the label indicates that the unit is quite old (based on the recommended oils). This implies that the o-rings should be standard inch sizes, but may not be found in normal kits. Engineers often use uncommon o-rings in order to fit parts within a desired area.
