Capri released a new series of long pattern reversible combination ratcheting wrenches. They look interesting :dunno: V cut open end with anti slip features, 120 position ratcheting boxed end, satin finished. Has possibilities but, I still have the first generation ratcheting wrenches Capri sold but, stopped offering them a while back. Locking Flex Head ratchets and now, new ratcheting wrenches, two large product launches in the same month

It's not that interesting, just another infar ltd rebrand. The price isn't bad at 200$. You have to be specifically looking for a long pattern wrench to buy them. I don't use ratchet wrenches that much, so will never buy these. its Great they are coming out with product for those looking for this length.

I love long pattern wrenches and long ratchets for the leverage boost, but if I was honest I need to be investing in stubby tools more and more now.

If it’s the same ratchet action on their 4-way box wrenches, it is very nice. Definitely an improvement over the Hi5/ICON ratchet wrenches i have.

That said, these aren’t as long. The 19mm is listed as 12.1” compared to 13.75” for the ICON. 17mm is 11.25” compared with 12.375”. The difference in size for the smaller sizes isn’t as significant (12mm is 8.29” compared to 8.625”)

Who needs more open-end wrenches? Yeah, the alignment guy, but otherwise....

My alignment guy always uses a super old pipe wrench with a cheater bar on it. Maybe that’s just because I’m in MN where everything is salty and rusty as hell.

I'm not sure if these are Infar sourced. :dunno: The new Capris have a different looking direction switch. On the Infar sourced reversible ratcheting wrenches, most have a lever on a disc style direction switch.

They have the infar open end, could just be a different looking switch. Or maybe they are a different supplier. Not sure but "look" can be change rather easy.

They aren't described as "long pattern" on the Capri website. They seem to be ~25% shorter (varies by size) than other long pattern ratcheting wrenches.

Shall we call these "mid length"?

They look nice. If I didn’t already have the Dewalt reversibles I might take a shot in these.

But alas. Home gamer with a set already good enough for anything I do.

I'm happy with my Capri stuff but the "v-cut" does nothing on the open end.

Are there ever any coupon codes on Capri Tools?
Not really. They offer rewards points that spend like cash on future orders if you order from their website. They publish a monthly sales flyer that may have a few things at special prices. Sometimes, they offer a percentage off depending on how much you spend. I think their sales have dried up from what they offered in years past but, that's just me.

Fed, I was bored during lunch today and did some searching. The youtube channel, Nuts & Bolts with Tone, shows TONE10 to be good for 10% off at Capri Tools website. Not too bad, and the rewards points will still accumulate.
