Short version: Anyone have the Milwaukee neck light & how do you like them? (Skip to the line break to bypass all the yapping)

I never had any interest in neck lights (or headlamps), never paid any attention to them. They didn't exist back when I worked in automotive. Then when I started my current job some months ago, back into automotive related, I noticed all my coworkers use neck lights, all Snap-on too.
So I gave in but I was too cheap, I bought the EZ-RED, after all they make em for SO. I was ok with them, especially for the price. Hated the micro-usb charging ports & the rubber covers for the charging ports. SO was better in those regards, USB-C, covers that stay in place, & the lights are detachable with magnets.

Won't get me through the day, sometimes yes if I remember to charge them during lunch. So that's why all my coworkers had at least 2 each. One could last me the day, if I didn't use them at full power all the time. But the EZ-RED & SO don't have memory, meaning they won't remember the last brightness setting the next time they are turned on. And the brightness level is variable, not a set number of brightness level modes. IMO they **** in this regard.
So I ordered a SO despite their high price. Well our SO guy only comes every two weeks. It took months for our SO guy to get me the neck light. A few weeks before it finally came in, I inherited a SO neck light from a coworker who moved out of state & left them behind. Took the new SO home.
I do like the SO much better, but because of the detachable feature, they stick out more. Because of which, sometimes I wear them on my head just above my ears, when laying down or bending my head sideways or whatever, they tend to slip off my head. I don't have that problem with the EZ-RED & I'll switch to those when I need to.

The SO tends to get loose at the pivot, the detent can even break & couple of my coworkers had to get them warrantied which also took forever. Hasn't happened to me but I noticed even my new ones out the box have side to side play. Not a big deal but the EZ-RED don't have this issue. I figured out how to fix that issue though on the SO.

Sorry for the rambling & thanks if you actually made it this far.
Onto the Milwaukee. It's got the battery pack on the back like the older SO but bulkier. Advantage is the battery can be swapped on the go. But because of it it's heavier & might not be wearable above my ears when needed. The MW does have memory & it's high & low brightness modes (I think). The lights aren't detachable and less stickout, but they don't have detents for the pivot (I think) which I'm not sure I'd like. There is only one button to turn on/off both lights, I think I might like that. Often I have to check the other ones if both are on by holding my hand in front of them.
As I'm getting older I'm finding I need more lighting more often. I was originally thinking the MW might not be that great for me at work but now I'm thinking might be pretty good for use at home & in the garage. I don't need detachable & runtime per charge is more important.
Anyone have any experience using the MW compared to SO and/or EZ-RED? Are they pretty heavy, can they be worn above the ears ok? Are the pivots pretty tight or too loose?
Wish HD had these in store on display so I can try em out but I suppose it makes sense why they don't. They don't even stock em around here but I just noticed there's one HD near me that shows 2 in stock now... which is why I'm posting this. But they cost just as much as the SO so I'm hoping not to make an expensive mistake buying them if they **** ***.
