Hi Mark, glad you to hear that weathered the storm ok. Lincoln is looking like it is coming along nicely.

You missed a great show in Nashville. Looking forward to seeing your cars there next year or maybe even in Columbus.

Hey guys I wanted to give a good update on what’s happening around the garage. I have the Lincoln back from the interior shop and I couldn’t be any happier. It smells so nice with all the leather . I had the 2018 dodge challenger seats for the car and I got a little nervous but I think they turned out great I wanted a more modern looking car and I think these seats were perfect. The rear seat foam was removed from the seat frame and were recessed in the sub-box under rear seats. You can see the ports in one of the pictures. Mounted inside are 2 kicker 8” square subs. Wow they punch nice. I wanted a small controller and something blue tooth and I ended up getting a marine radio. The controller is mounted in the center console and is very discrete with a carbon fiber cover plate.. The subs have their own amps and it definitely rocks! I am definitely and loud music kind of guy.

The front dash is stockish’. I had the defroster vents scanned and printed so to finish out the defroster openings. We also mounted the photo cell in the defroster vents for the dusk to dawn headlight control. The wood grain surfaces on the gauge bezel and glove box were replaced with carbon fiber details. The gauges are courtesy of Dakota Digital and are electronic. The steering wheel was custom made by Sparc Industries.

I love the stitching in the seats as I think it’s a very classic look. The top is cloth made from Stayfast material. I think with the wheels, top and interior shads of gray it all ties in together well.

Mark, that is simply over the top stunning! Great work on pulling everything together - phenomenal vision!
I see the '63 on the lift in the background - how's it coming?
Thanks so much! I am very pleased how it came together. I had a glitch to say the least when the well known body shop had my Corvette for 11 months. Not only that the workmanship did not meet my expectations. Its now at a shop where my main body guy works and we are now in control of the project. I was just at that shop this morning and i am extremely happy so we are back on track.

That is BEAUTIFUL!
My dad had a '68 hardtop for a couple of years when I was a kid.

new Gen 3 Coyote 5.0 with a 10 speed automatic. This car is literally a rocket ship and will smoke the tires!

Everything is always for sale right 🤣

I'm guessing it would easily exceed my hillbilly budget. Beautiful car, absolutely stunning! Your work is always impeccable, I enjoy and appreciate you sharing these builds.

I have been noticing the paint on the garage fading because of the intense sun we have down here. We used the best Sherwin Williams paint but after 13 years its time for me to repaint. As I am retired I figured there was no use to hire someone to paint it because its something I can do. I am starting in the front of the garage and going to work my way around. Three years ago I purchased a used 40' lift to do tree trimming and other odd jobs around the property so it has been helpful to get to the taller areas needing painted. There is a cypress wood band around the top with cypress corbels on the to that need stained, the stucco is a acrylic satin tan color., and the facia and gutters are brown acrylic so there is lots of cutting in to do. The darn paint is almost $45 per gallon now which is crazy but I dont want to use cheap paint. Hoping to have the garage knocked out in the next 3 weeks and then start thinking about the house. I am hoping to get to the house this season as I am definitely going to take advantage of the cooler temperatures. By no means am I done with the cars. The other lincoln and my Corvette are at bodyshops so I am taking time right now to do what I can before the cars get back. Wish me luck!!

Another plug for Duration. The Midwest can be hard on exteriors - 100+ in the summer and some -0 in winter. We had our house painted with it 12 years ago and just this summer had it re-painted with the same paint and color...same great painting company too...and the only thing that really changed was the price. Staggering compared to a decade ago.....but what isn't?
