I have several of the HF parts trays in my garage in various drawers around the garage and have considered making one of the racks that many guys here have created, or getting a bakery track rack and using it. Yesterday these popped up on FB and I like the look of them, seeing that one can add more capacity by bolting another one on top of the first one seems like a good idea. I don't have any way to craft a rack from metal my self unless I were to make one that was bolted together, my Audi allroad doesn't have the cargo capacity to bring home a sheet of plywood sine I don't had crossbars for the roof rack, not to mention the issues I would have trying to move it around with my disability.

So these look like a viable option for me to use for putting the trays I have in one spot and not tying up drawer or workbench top space. Has anyone here actually seen these or is using them, I would like to know your praise or frustration.

C'mon man, think outside the box....

Throw a mattress on the roof, plywood on top of and run a strap though the interior with the windows down.... mattress is so you don't scratch the paint on your nice car.

Those look nice but $155 is bit pricey.... but if you don't have the tools like a welder.

Those look to be bolted together, could disassemble to transport. I've actually be contemplating building a rack like that for some different size bins using that type of aluminum extrusion.

Those look like a cheap plastic one I had, shipped knocked down. I imagine that one, even tho aluminum, would still ship knocked down. Maybe you could split it into two sides and a pile of crossbars.

Those look pretty good if you have those boxes. And I think the price is reasonable. Looks like 80/20 type extrusions with angle steel or aluminum to hold the boxes. I'm sure there's dozens of companies that make 80/20 knockoffs now, but years ago when it was just 80/20 it got to be really expensive when you started adding in all of the necessary brackets, hardware, and small parts. Yeah, the extrusions were cheap, but when you were done with the list it was sticker shock. It's kinda like the ClosetMaid shelf systems. Yeah, the shelves and rails are relatively cheap, but once you add in the 20 shelf brackets and the misc small parts you need, holy **** did this get to be an expensive redo.
