Can a Honda EU6500is be rebuilt?

My company sells and repairs Honda generators. I’ll be with my mechanic tomorrow. I’ll ask him how he would test yours in this situation.

Depending on your location, I could also get you a price. I’m based in Nebraska but have other locations that may work to avoid freight.

The YouTube video I found shows it running and writing just like mine so I would guess inverter.

The 120/240 switch does similar when it fails. Although it still might be the inverter, the 120/240 switch is a fairly common failure point on this model as well.

What is warranty on the EU7000is if I buy that, I think my better option is a new generator. Don't really care about the money and hate to guess on parts. I assume if I buy a 120/240 switch or the inverter it is not returnable, so I figure might as well buy new, we need to rely on this selling food with refrigerator and smokers and food warmers

3 years if you register it as residential. 1 year commercial w/ no limits on hours.

how? no oil pressure in the engine will severally damage it.

Oil pressure? In an engine without an oil pump?

They drain the oil at the same time they fill it. They just do it more often than we recommend.

Mak made me think of oil changes. They had this generator prepped for me, the wife paid and said there was no book or manual, I suppose I can look for one on the Internet.

It should have been registered for you already, which starts the warranty period on the day of purchase. You can PM me the serial number (EEJD-XXXXXXX) and I'll check it for you.
