DeWalt 20v battery to Fein 18v adapter

Does anyone have a recommendation on an adapter to use DeWalt 20v on Fein 18v pre 2022 change? The only adapter I found on eBay ships from Turkmenistan with varied reviews and none specific to the exact configuration I was looking at.

Feels like an odd combo, plus most of the adapters are cheap chineseum anyway. I wouldn't expect to find anything else.

Old thread but same story here since I got pre ‘22 Fein 18V drill for cheap and it is awesome but one of the batteries died.

So Jmonnty did you ever find an adaptor?

I know that this all cheaply made stuff but are these besides possible falling apart asap considered safe to use?

You're welcome. So far, I've bought three adapters off of Amazon for my Porter Cable batteries. I've used them a couple times and have been fine so far. They aren't 3D printed and are made from pretty stout plastic.

The battery management for Dewalt is in the tool, so when you use their battery on the fein, you do run the risk of running it down too far and killing it. Just pay attention to battery level and charge before it needs it
