Recent thread mentioning this maker brought me to their site. Good Lord!
I'm reminded of an old Cheech and Chong bit where a Japanese officer explains to a would be kamikazi pilot how to perform his duty. The pilot's response seems appropriate here.

Oh, wow. I thought that price was in yen.
That's kind of dope, though, and it should catch on. Obviously don't use mother of pearl, etc., but some cool handles wouldn't be so bad. Maybe laser etched, maybe an anodized aluminum sleeve.

Listed: CHF 4459.24 (currency converted: USD 4930.50)
Just a tad more expensive than a large electronic Stahlwille torque wrench.
IIRC there are also gold plated ratchets.

Wooden box included I hope. :)

Barely known is that some luxurious boxes for very expensive Swiss (many kCHF, kUSD or kEUR (not to be confused with KEUR for KEMA-KEUR :) )) watches are indded made in... China.

We had to cancel our KTC factory tour last Japan vacation, but I bet it would have been nice to see these up close!

I don't use ANY wooden boxes:

Not a tool but...

There's also a high fashion cable tie bracelet, don't remember the designer and can't either remember the fashion brand which also sells a very few extremely expensive basic hand tools.

Example here, featured in Vogue:

Whatever floats one's boat, bateau qui vogue. :)
