Wow that is very strange. I thought Princess Auto was like Harbor Freight.

That's like finding Williams tools at Harbor Freight.

BAHCO is very good IMHO. Those are US made in that link

yep, it is like harbor freight, but they have a surplus section as well thats odds and ends.

they were USA made

they also had two different sizes of klein hole saws, and some german made fence pliers as well for instance

They finally showed up in my PA... Or maybe they have been here a while and I missed them. Well hidden, bottom shelf with some stuff mostly blocking the view of them. So I snagged a set. I'm very impressed, they look absolutely top notch and there isn't a flaw on a single socket. 3/8-7/8 both shallow and deep.

I also got some Nicholson hacksaw blades for cheap (USA, I don't know if they're great but 6 blades for $4 cnd seemed like a good deal), and there was some USA craftsman stuff in the surplus section as well...

Here's the Bahco stuff...

See, it says 'USA':

Came with a soft grip ratchet and three extensions:

Ratchet says 'USA' as well:

They're all a little greasy now, I'm not the type to do much other than take a rag to them when I'm done. So, they don't look as great as they would otherwise. But they are real US Bahco stuff, I imagine discontinued and thus made their way to the surplus section of PA.

Also, they came with a funky socket rail, which doesn't work well for me, so I tossed it.

Bahco is owned by Snap On.

Yes, and they even have Snap-on date codes on them... I figured for $60 they were a good deal for quality USA sockets.

saw these on overstock.com for 19.00 a few months ago..

Cool. That would have been a really good deal. They probably wouldn't have shipped to Canada either way, and with these I actually opened the box before I bought them.
