Weekend project. Modified the fuel (direct injection) system on my son’s ATS V so he can run E85, crank up the boost and throw some timing to it.
Dropped exhaust, diff cooler lines, driveshaft, and fuel tank to swap low pressure fuel pump

Swapped cam and high pressure fuel pump. That’s the fuel pump behind the head there. It’s driven by the last lobe on the lower (exhaust) cam.

This little tool, borrowed from a friend of my son’s, is handier than a shirt on a pocket. It holds the cam sprocket in place allowing removal of the cam without disturbing valve timing.

E85 flex fuel sensor plugs into the OEM computer.

Almost finished the 93 tune, I’m about to dump some E85 in it now. We should get 600+ rwhp out of this 230 cu in TT V6. On 93 at 22 psi it pulls like a freight train whacking on it at 80 mph

. My CTS V runs high tens and I believe I’ll hand my hands full next time we visit the track. I know if I’m not in front at 1/8 mile, I won’t be running him down.
