Saw a MAC truck off Addison and North. Smaller truck than what I am used to seeing. I’m not sure if it’s the same MAC driver I met a while back or if it’s a different guy on a different route. Would have loved to swing by and drop in to say hello but I’ve been so strapped for time after work lately.

Saw this Snappy truck at a Shell gas station in Castaic, CA on thursday night
Chatted a little bit with ole Frank
He told me that he's been a Snap On dealer for 27 or so years.

It was fun talking with him, we reminisced about the Ole Days......

Saw both a CORNWELL & a MATCO truck in Indiana, Pa, this afternoon!

Will see the SNAP ON truck tomorrow, as he stops at Mechanic shop across the creek from me...(sometimes? Even pulls in my driveway)

The guy that was my SO dealer 35 years ago now "owns" five routes along with his sons.
He pretty much has the bulk of central/southern Illinois.

They have a huge warehouse that you can stop at any time the open sign is on, walk in and buy tools.

Nice folks - they are the ones that had the pristine 1980's KR set I bought.

Cornwell truck stopped at TSC in Newton, IL today. Driver was getting dog food, between stops.

Spotted Rad Altwal's truck on Steven's Creek Blvd (which was near Jason DiLaura's territory....) then he headed to Campbell which is close to Hector Montez's turf...

I see a Cornwell truck and a Snap On truck at the shop every Tuesday, and a Matco truck every Wednesday.

This was from last week, I knew what I wanted and once he stopped at a nearby gas station I bought pliers.

It’s kind of been quiet over here. Matco guy that services the area has gone missing. The MAC group has lost a few drivers. Only Snappy seems to be going strong, which is crazy because MAC has always been bigger and more popular here.

Saw a new Snap-on driver off Lombard and Fullerton the other day. Seems they finally got someone to service the route west of Grace St.

This is the second time that I have spotted this truck on Curtner Ave just pass Monterrey Road

I see him more often than ole Hector who services my part of town

Yeah, this is the guy for the Capitol Expressway Auto Mall shops, I live in this neighborhood. I've seen his truck a lot but haven't met him.
I drive way up north when I need to buy Snap-on tools now. I stumbled upon Vince Mingione at a gas station in Redwood city a couple years back, and bought a few things off his truck. I've been going out of my way to buy stuff from him for the last few years because his customer service is great and now he's bought his own franchise in San Mateo - really nice guy. He gave me tshirts to gift my parents for Christmas a couple years ago and that pretty well cemented me as a customer. Can get you his contact info if you ever wanna swing by his truck.
