"Compare to CARRY-ON TRAILER 5X10LGW2K"

That's $2k, and has a wood deck, from Lowe's

And for $1800 you can get a 5.5x10 with wood deck, side rails and a ramp from TSC...
The HF isn't anything amazing, but the cheap trailers at TSC and Lowe's are junk. If I'm buying a cheap trailer, I'll take one that is priced accordingly.

Either way, I have a fantastic aluminum trailer, so I'm well out of the market for this

My 5x10 needs love (former life hauled a sled in winter) but I paid $300 for it and it wasn't terrible 9 years ago.

Right now looking for a 9k rated trailer, 7k isn't quite enough and the larger ones are just too damn heavyweight for a 1/2 ton

Not for sale in West Virginia. That just so happens to be my closest Harbor Freight. Everyone else sells trailers (including my TSC--also in WV), so what's the deal? Not that it's anything I need--the half a 3100 great-Granddad built using the truck Granddad learned to drive in is still holding up--need to get some old tires (since it's never used on-road) and equip it with a regular tongue.

Does WV have a specific registration requirement? Guessing these are missing some thing like a title or VIN

Only a few hrs to Richmond... We have a **** load of HF's over here...

My guess is yes. I have heard the manager at my TSC mention something about titles every time a trailer is sold. Never been something, as the only trailer I have experience with is the 3100, and it was home-built and never on-road.

There is one in VA about an hour from here--that's the second-closest, but much further than the one in WV. At least its better than 2 hours as it was for two decades.

Do a search on here for Harbor Freight trailer and see how long the earlier model using a sheet of plywood fills the bill for many people. See how long it's lasted, that would be a long time, and how people load it, and it holds-up. And this one is better.

I'm from the 'cheap, used' trailer side of the family, and I bought one needing parts/work, it's gotta be (for my ownership) probably 30 years old. The main frame is a hot-dipped galvanized U-channel, it was built as a tilt small boat trailer. It does what I need it to. Anything bigger, I'll rent a U-Haul.

So includes virtually nothing, comes unassembled, has a $129 freight charge, has unexplained restrictions on sale and can only be sold to people 18 and over...
