Working on the freebie snapper today.
Thought about putting a new blade on, but I’m already $50 deep into it lmao.
So I pulled the original blade
Kinda hard to balance this style blade on this balancer, but I got it close. Vise is level
Got most of the nicks out. Most. Not the best and not my proudest sharpen, but any more $$$ and no profit when I sell. New blades are $30ish. If I keep it, I may put a new blade on it.
And this is why less profit. It needed the self propel drive cable. Cheapest I found was Amazon for just over $40. That’s the old cable and the reason for the need to replace is evident lol
Got it back together. It runs and cuts amazing. Just need fluids and filter, washed and detailed, and she should be ready for market. I’m shooting for $125 or thereabouts. What says y’all’s?
