They are great units. I bought one several years ago on Ebay . I modified the handle so it would swing down to take up less space. ( the longer version of the story was, after I bought it the seller could not ship it for the quoted price and wanted out of the deal. I agreed that the shipping was too low, I asked them if they would cut the handle off to reduce the size & ship it. They reluctantly agreed and did it. I was a happy camper & ended up with a more easily stored machine too boot
I gave it to friends. they love it for jockying their camper trailer around .

I wish it was a little closer. Its 3+ hours one way for me. Just don't have the time. These don't come up for sale often. And not for $175. New they are $2500.

I scrolled around looking for the seller name before I caught it was Craigslist and not marketplace....

What's it worth to ya?

That’s gotta be a scam. They are $1200 and up, used, on the Powercaster website.

I bought mine used in AZ for $1100 a few months ago. They are not $500 new, never have been.

Buyer beware.

I'll be in that area tomorrow through Sat. Don't think I'll have time to look though...

Oh ye of little faith!

Sure it could be a scam, but someone may be getting a heckuva deal if it isn't a scam.

It's funny I'm actually working in Halfmoon for the rest of the week. If @Mike007 wants to make deal with seller and take care of payment I can pick it up and get it down to Rockland county by Monday. Just throwing it out there.

I appreciate the offers. I'm going to pass. I collected all the parts to build one several years ago. I really need something light duty to move my empty car trailer around. One day I'll get around to putting it together.

No extension cord required!
For me, I want an extension cord. For the amount of times I would use it. And the possibility of not using it for long periods of time, the cord inconvenience out weighs the maintaining another battery. Again, for me.

I have 5 boats…so there are always a couple extra charged batteries laying around…plus have a large area where they get staged would make a cord impractical in my case. And yes, having spare batteries around boats is a good idea…
