unreal. I have some air hose, Goodyear, 3/8 rubber that has been patched a few times. I thought it might be time to replace it since it is well-over 25 years old. There are 12 - 13 million people in this part of the state within a one to two hour drive. That is over twice as many as in the whole country of Ireland. The soonest I can get one here is about 10 days. Unbelievable. All sorts of Chinese PVC stuff and hybrid stuff available but I really don't want something stiff made of recycled plastics, or that dies within three or four years. Guess I will just rearrange the hoses I have now to put the one used the least on the spool and set the oldest one aside or toss it. Same for Milton high flow V fittings - zip nada, come back in two weeks. I guess I can use HF ones for that but really I feel like I walked into an ice cream parlor and asked for vanilla ice cream, and was told that they have ice milk but I have to special order the vanilla ice cream and come back in a couple weeks. What is wrong with the buyers for all these big chain stores these days. Are they all that generation that chooses things because they are pretty and twinkle, the mommy look at what I finger painted ... yes Jimmy but it looks a lot the one from the other day ... No, mommy, that one I did my hands like this (clockwise) and this one I did my hands like this (counter-clockwise.) My rant is over. Just stunned no one locally has the 3/8" Continental or Goodyear rubber hoses in commonly used 50 lengths.
