Apologies for my absence, good to see you guys have been busy! Our younger son has been full-tilt with baseball (2 teams). And, my sailing season (as an official) started this past weekend (wet/foggy on Saturday, much nicer on Sunday)...

These were in the "welp, I guess we'll send them to the metal recycler's" pile at the tool library, so total cost $0.
(I am genuinely surprised that the pliers and wrenches and weird triangularviseclamp did not make it into the "we should refurbish this" pile, but everyone is dealing with a lot. I'm just lucky that my way of dealing is "that looks interesting under the gunk, gimme.")
Estate auction
First item was 4.00 box with pvc fittings 3 boxes couples hoses pressure sprayer and other miscellaneous things
Second was a top tool box 39.00 semi full ended up being a par x even had the key
third item was a 4 drawer bolt and miscellaneous organizer 33.00 That is kinda full of mostly junk
Tool box ended up having mostly snap on Mac with a few proto craftsman cornwell action Bonney crescent sk wright stamped USA wrenchs and I think I only had 2 or 3 china sockets![]()
Second flea. I found this interesting box of trinkets with an interesting tiny wrench sticking out. Added the Perfect Handle wrench and got all for $5.
Misc tool steel, brass, odds n ends.
Turned out there were a number of interesting small wrenches in there. A cool homemade male hex wrench. Some branded tool steel including one Pratt & Whitney.
Starrett and Whitman & Barnes charts.
Some neat open ends.
- Dodge Brothers
- McKaig Hatch
- Barcalo
-no name flat wrench
-5 pc tiny set of Gordon (England) wrenches. The smallest is 1/8”, oddly the first wrench I spotted. One wrench broken and one modified.
-Canforge Welland Ontario. A new to me oldie I’m not familiar with.
-Williams 3/16 single end
-2 really cool Stahlwille single ends. 6mm and 7mm.
Other finds:
-Bog male 1/2” extension. Lucky find in a box of drill bits as the seller was packing up.
-Apco Mossberg 1/2” by 1/2” square
-Snap-on 3/8”
-Mac brake bleeder wrench
- 2 Large wood handle screwdrivers. Blue-Point Tool Co Chicago! I’ll have to make them a little more readable. For their age, I can’t believe the lightly used condition.
