I finished painting my garage about 5 years ago. I have a few colors and the dark green body faded to grey in 4 years. The places i'm using it are wood claps and shingles. As seen in the pics the difference from what i painted and not yet is significant.
Question 1 - is there any paint that they gaurentee against fading? Or is there an additive that does it? I used gallons from Sherman/Home depot/and Lowes on the first go round. All were one step below top.
I am able to quicly cut in and use a 4 inch roller to do the work but the shingles are up there and I was considering using my graco sprayer. I got one of those 3 foot metal gaurd things but I know there is some blow back so will I end up repainting all of the other lighter paint as well from the overspray? You can see I have the lighter color on the sill as well as a few other places. I'm able to brush it but thinkng the sprayer will be far quicker if it doesn't cost me the same time to fix the overspray.
Please keep the comments of unfinished trim and unfinished paint on this side to a minimum LOL.
