Been working like a crazy man getting ready for the Porsche Rally we are hosting at the house.

Have been cutting trees/brush/brambles, trimming and tearing out ivy, clearing dead wood from the trees along the properties edge. It’s all been fun and rewarding. Think that work is over for now.

The path to the beach has been neglected for a long time and the following pics show the progress:

Now that this work is completed, need to clean up the attached garage and make it presentation ready. Amazing how much **** gets accumulated, but the space is looking better every day. To avoid whacking the cars while reorganizing/cleaning, put the cars out on the grass while the work was in progress. Left the F355 on the lift so it’s not in the picture. A nice day for a little photo op:

Wind picked up a bit while the cars were out and this time of year, the pollen is pretty thick and the cars were covered with the stuff.

The poster for this event is coming along nicely and we plan on making several copies of the original (like maybe 10 copies) which we will sell for a fixed price. The painted master will be sold via auction during the event. All proceeds will go to the Animal Shelter:

To raise more funds, we will be selling these “pot holders” to all of our Porsche friends:

Have just under 100 people registered. Should be a fun day with a group of great like minded people!

All I can say is WOW!

( This is coming from a guy in greasy clothes whose idea of a car event is hanging out at Burger King on a Friday night in a clapped out turd of a vehicle)
Thanks for your comment! Always a ton of fun hosting these events. Nice participation from both Porsche clubs and enthusiasts. A shot out on the north lawn taken by one of the attendees:

We auctioned off several of the event posters with all proceeds going to the animal shelter. Brian & Beck were the high bidders for this artwork and this was their first Porsche event in Washington. There was no way they could have stuffed this poster into their Porsche last Saturday. They came back on Thursday with the wagon to safely transport the poster home.

Thought it would be fun to stage the Speedster with the poster and have them in the car. Think the picture is a good one:

Was their Porsche the actual car used for the poster artwork?
Beautiful car and staged photo!

This Speedster wasn’t used as the subject….. It just happens to be an exact copy for the artwork. The subject car is one I’ve brought back to life over the past couple of years and storing in my shop.

For the June Cars & Coffee, want to celebrate the Corvette. Invited a few friends over to the house to do a photo shoot for our C & C invitation.

Great turnout with 25 cars showing up and praise be to the weather gods, it was a perfect morning!

A few shots thus far from my phone and soon to be obtained, pictures from a real camera taken by a real photographer……

Enjoy these pictures:

Last one, a shot of our Vettes. Really like these cars… right up there with the 356.

Lastly, a new video from Nick has dropped today. A lot less technical than the previous segments and now; It’s Alive!
