Saturday I swapped out the carb on the Brushwacker, it even came with the proper tool for the fuel screws. Then mixed up some more premix. 40:1 with YamalubeR and premium fuel. Not ethanol free, not willing to make that drive to pick up. I do treat with Stabil though.
Yesterday I started on the old mower. Pulled the carb and intake manifold/pipe, bolts werent much more than finger tight and half the gasket was missing. Carb was a mess, primer bulb has 2 holes in it, air filter is full of oil. Air filter and bulb were around $15-$16 total on Amazon, gskt was over $12. Found a carb w/ gaskets, air filter, new fuel line, and a spark plug for $15. It should be at the house when I get home tonight. Blade was in decent condition, sharpened that and reinstalled. There was an oil leak at filler pipe, removed and resealed with some Motoseal. The previous owner rigged some kind of funky house switch for an On/Off switch. Will have to look into that. Hopefully it will run decent.
