All metal broom

We've got this all metal broom at our shop, its been there longer than me. The thing's damn near indestructible, it's been used to push dust, dirt, gravel, oily soaker pads, snow. It's been run over by a snowcat and bent back into shape. The bristles were pretty soft and moved anything you wanted over a less-than-smooth floor but they're about 3/4" long at this point and everyone wants to throw it away but I'm clinging to it like my life depends on it.

I'm just struggling to find a good replacement. Gone through a range of wooden or plastic ones over the years and they never last. Tried hardware store, Canadian Tire, Grainger, U-Line and so on, can't find anything that will fill this broom shaped hole in the shop.

Yeah I found those too. Not looking for steel bristles, just the handle/brace/bristle frame with poly (or whatever) bristles.

Here's what I'm trying to replace. Can't see any part numbers on it or anything, I'd like to just get the same again.

I've never heard of a steel/metal bristled push broom.

It was probably a short lived patented item that has since stopper production.
The metal would avoid water expansion and contraction, and rotting issues that can kill a wood broom head, and cause loss of bristles.

These MDB broom heads appear to have steel heads, although I can’t tell for sure, and the descriptions only list bristle type.
The design is not the same though.

Blue handle almost makes me think "Bon Tools" as their bull floats and come alongs have the same shade of blue.

Seems like all the better push brooms have those diagonal supports coming off the handle. They really make a difference.

Yeah, I'd hang onto the handle and braces to add to whatever you get if it doesn't have them. Old broom handles always end coming in handy around here.

Once I had a word to go on I was able to search our PO system for old invoices and it looks like we've bought some Bruske brooms years ago... Thinking maybe they were stocked locally and that's where this one came from. I'll be reaching out that store to see if they can order some in or otherwise I'll try that Fastenal option

Try Zahm and Nagel--brewery measuring/carbonation tools. Some days, I can find what I need and order it online. Most times, it's an e-mail. I'm constantly buying gaskets and such from them for our equipment and I'm constantly frustrated.

Yo don't have a coworker who fails to clean a broom after doing a broom-finish on concrete--the broom you bought last week.

You can purchase anti-mar strip material, or just wrap the metal parts in gaffers tape or Plasti-Dip.

In the spring when equipment is coming down 2000' from above snow line, through mud and eventually dirt and gravel before making it it into the shop we'll go through a hardware store broom in a week. This metal one I'm replacing is at least 5 years old.
