Maybe they are the sane ones....Kay never listen to the voices in your head, they’re insane.
Just say'in!^^^But, but, but, they're friendly. And they say happy dirty words.

I hope to hell you had a good rest after that!Received and took to the shop the 5000 1 and 3/4” 18 Gauge Brads that arrived overnight from Amazon
I overheard one of the clients at the local "guest home" once when he was asked if he knew the voices in his head weren't real: "Do you think that makes a difference?"Kay never listen to the voices in your head, they’re insane.
Well, at least it isn't obvious that they're talking to themselves anymore. Everyone on the street is talking to people I can't see. Some people with schizophrenia just get better for no known reason, it’s pretty terrifying to hear them describe what it’s like.
Back in the day, I could tune in AM stations on my silver amalgam fillings. No more with resin fillings.Sometimes I hear voices, when someone drives by and my hearing aids decide to pair with their phone. It's a hoot in rush hour traffic. The things people say when they think they're in a private space.
The junior high I (occasionally) attended was next door to the transmitter of one of the most powerful AM stations in the NW US--KYXI. The heating radiators played music. The window frames in the library played talk shows. Kids with braces complained of hearing music and voices.Back in the day, I could tune in AM stations on my silver amalgam fillings. Did you use a power tool? Vintage collectible chisel? Antique belt knife?Cut a bottle in half so my wife could get to the remaining lotion that doesn't pump out because the tube is a half inch off the bottom.
Cool project, and hopefully you kick the cancers ***.Today was day number 2 of my build on a wooden blown sbc. It’s my first week back in the garage in 3 weeks, as my cancer has kicked my *** lately. Hopefully another day or so and I’ll have it finished!

I'd been eyeing those. Glad they got grabbed wellA Dorman deal I just could not pass on!
Five-4 drawer Dorman parts units/cubes.
Just like the old Western Auto had when I was just a kid.
They are not in really bad shape, drawers had some rust, paint needed cleaning where there was paint. Overall, 80% was just cosmetic.
A few trays needed scraping, primer and top coat, nothing a few rattle cans couldn't fix. Planning on cutting some rubber matting to slide in the bottoms of the trays. There are new vynal drawer stickers in the OEM style, but at $5 a pop???? I think I'll pass on the new front covers....they can stay crusty, just like me.
LOL! I was working on mine too. The Last bolt I put in holding the lower unit on pulled all the threads out. I had to remove it again and put a helicoil in.

The new decals are $5 each...the units were a bit more...lolI'd been eyeing those. Glad they got grabbed well
edit: whoa not the ones I was eyeing if they were 5$ a pop lol
ok lol. That makes sense. Then we were probably seeing the same ones. The new decals are $5 each...the units were a bit more...lol
And the seller delivered them...She was so nice to offer.ok lol. That makes sense. Then we were probably seeing the same ones.

I gotta start doing this maintenance in the winter.
That’s a serious bilge pump. When mine kicks on I just reach down and put the drain plug inI hear ya. I am usually pretty good at doing the maintenance and other projects in the off season. I have a boat condo so I can work on my boat even when there is 4 feet of snow outside. This is because of a new issue. I had done a bunch of things over the winter and this was discovered after our first test run. We launched and drove around for an hour or so. everything was running and operating great. Including my 2000 gph automatic bilge pump. We had stopped and shut everything down and was rigging up some lines to drag in the water when the pump came on. Okay, not unsual as I had washed out the bilge and decks a couple days earlier so no big deal. Then it came on again and again. This got my attention so I started lifting motor covers and deck panels to see WTF. I could not tell from where at the time but we were definitely taking on water. Time to head back.
I could not find anything obvious while on the trailer so I decided to relaunch the boat minus decking and engine covers. I brought lights, mirrors and cameras. I was 90 percent sure that it was coming from the transom area. I tried to use my snake/boroscope type camera but it was just too bright out to see the screen. So I ended up finding the area using my cell phone in video mode and holding under the motor as far as I could. It was coming in at the bottom of the exhaust Y where it connects to the transom plate. So I pulled the motor to access the exhaust Y. Pic of Y suggests that it has been leaking for years. Now waiting on parts...

Yesterday I took apart the hedge trimmer attachment and repacked with fresh grease,

Ya'll got auto bilge pumps on ya'lls boat?!?!
I really need to look into an auto bilge pump, but the bilge pump I have still works.

'Cause, y'know, GJ.
Usually faster to just pull the engine and leave the trans in.Not today, but earlier this week, my brother had his 2007 Mountaineer towed down to my house for some major repairs it needs. It has the dreaded 4.0 V6 with the timing "cassettes" in the front and rear of the engine, and he wants to replace them. To get to the bolt holding the rear cassette in place, you have to pull the transmission outwhat a genius design ... but I digress.
It had been sitting at his house awaiting repair for some time, and in that time it developed a no crank, no start condition. I broke out the test light and found that the 12V signal wire on the solenoid was missing. With some poking and prodding, discovered that the signal was lost at the PCM due to the transmission range switch going bad. The PCM thinks that Park is Reverse, Reverse is Neutral, etc. Went to the sensor and found it out of alignment, tried aligning it but the sensor still wasn't reading correctly. NOS Ford sensor is on the way.
While it sits here in my driveway like an ugly lawn ornament, we'll be pulling the transfer case to diagnose a clicking noise under acceleration, replacing the timing cassettes, and I'll teach him how to do front brakes since the front brakes are TOAST.
