Was just in Ace Hardware and they have half an aisle with clearance Craftsman tools. Tons of sockets, ratchets, drivers, full sets, hand tools, etc. Had a few Gearwrench items as well.

Looks like most were 50% off. This was at the Ace in Ellijay, GA. Full set of Gearwrench screwdrivers was $20 and they had quite a few C’man sets as well.

With the Craftsman sales we’re seeing these days, wondering what the future might hold.

Interesting you mention that. I have an Ace gift card that my M.I.L. gave me for xmas last year. I tried to use it and the very nice lady manning the front said that they do not accept Ace gift cards. I was like, OK, so Ace doesn‘t accept Ace gift cards? Nice.

It was a probably the "nobody's buying this ****" type of independent ownership sale thing. My local Hardware stores do that too.

Buy something good you don't need. :ROFLMAO:

ACE Hardware stores are mostly independently owned franchise operations, so that sale is probably just local to you.
(I just called my local ACE and they have no big specials on Craftsman today.)
Same thing for NAPA auto parts……… Best thing is to find a corporate owned store for internet deals.
