Great to see some aircooled VWs around! the type 34 is high on my list

I have a 64 Beetle with the original engine and a 74 Super that my father bought new. Plus the Crossfire was built in the Karmann factory.

This thread of Garages at Night is one of my favorites, so thought I'd try taking some photos at night. Taken a couple months ago. Not great quality pictures tho. Cleaned up after removing the motor out of the speeder.

Here is mine, slowly getting finished and starting to tear into the '37. Wish it was bigger, but some day I will get to build a bigger one. Not sure that I have actually posted before maybe just lurked. Made my way over here from the Hamb when I started gutting the garage last year.

type550, Sorry, someone has reminded me that I did post about my garage.
It's in Garage Gallery: My tandem garage
(Sorry I don't know how to refer to another post so you can just click on it to get to it)

Alot of great pictures in this thread. A garage/shop at night looks so awesome, just like a world of it's own standing out in the darkness that surrounds it. It doesn't matter whether it is a car shop, woodworking shop, metal shop or just a tinker shop they have a life of their own personal to the person who put them together.

Some of the photos in this thread would make some awesome garage art IMHO.

I used to live in Leighton Buzzard (Beds), work in Tring (Herts) and have got friends in Watford. What a small world eh??

I'll have to get some pics of my tiny garage and post up.

my humble offering.....

have just finished painting the entire inside (bar one wall behind the shelves on right facing in) white which has made a huge difference....

shaggiecastleatnight.jpg

next plan is to remove the shelves on right (and paint wall behind) then move Superhawk to sit on race stands (ie vertical) where the shelf was then build a workbench area where the bike and mower now are with a pegboard background.....

(thanks to my mate Pete for his photo skills and mad fancy Canon)

Here's mine - just finished it enough to get the Caddy in the next day, next - shelves for high-up along the back wall (11' ceiling), hang speakers, hang neon signs, final trim/paint - may change the color in the spring...

Here's a photo of a Hazet wall cabinet hanging above the Hazet Assistent. Still trying to find the older tools to fill it up.

And here's mine... Nothing too fancy; a 30x40 backyard shop, but I sure like hanging out back there...

Very cool, thanks for sharing. I have been trying to find the hazet pegboard metal display board in north america without success.
