Yep, it's for speed reduction--but one belt shy of a purpose. It should be somewhere between the motor and the head, with two short belts.

Somewhat rare, and somewhat valuable--depending on if you have someone who wants/needs it.Are they rare? Are they an original Delta accessory? I couldn’t find anything on them.
I’m gonna try to pick it up. The rest of the press is in very poor condition (major ring of shame on table, broken base casting). It’s a really good parts donor at this point.Somewhat rare, and somewhat valuable--depending on if you have someone who wants/needs it.
