Swapped a home made cart out for a Husky. I shopped around quite a bit( a lot actually), looking at numerous brands, picked the Husky exclusively for the dimensions (width). Trying to get stuff easier to access. Swapped out the casters, added a back stop and started getting stuff sorted in their new home. Unloaded most of the contents of the old Mac box so I could slide it off one and onto the other. It's forcing me to sort through some items as well. The top of the Mac box became a catch all. Pics, no order..

Ran the 3d printer during a thunderstorm last night. Was lucky the power didn't go out. Then this morning I added some feet to the inflatable's power supply. I also replaced the fan guard with a duct to try and keep water out of it.

Later today I'm getting a new shelf for the shop. I want to reorganize another section of it.

So far, I haven't done **** in or near the shop, but we had a little breeze last night:

I'm calling those out of my ballpark. I need to find a tree service company. My old contacts in the business are retired or dead.

Now I'm going to do something, like pick up all the debris that's blown around the property and assess the damages.

So much for sleeping in of a Saturday....

But, wait, there's more:

I had that little non-bearing, flowering crabapple looking pretty nice.

Other than that,

Not so bad. Local weather station--about six miles from here--reports the max gust at 60 mph. I think it might have been a little higher here--Chinook winds are fluky and locally variable.

Am I seeing the one tree in the power likes in the first two pics? if so power co. needs a called!

That's some serious wind!

Thought about a weather station for the Pub? It could be entertaining in the bar!

No power lines involved. The "line" in the picture is just a 5/16" cable supporting some yard string lights.

Believe me, if there was anything down on the feeds, the power co. would have been called last night.

FFS--Looks like there are no good tree services out here anymore. I'd be comfortable with the one that's lying mostly down--I could chunk it back without breaking those cables--but the one hanging in the other tree... just nope. I'm hoping the power co. will agree that it's threatening their lines and deal with that one.

Googling tree service Enterprise OR gets me lots of hits that all have different names and the same address... that looks like total BS to me.

No, don't have enough driveway to justify it. Takes me 30mins or so to shovel walks and what I need to clear of the gravel drive way. Plow itself was missing.

66, was a factory turbo 152 but not sure where/when/why turbo and its hardware went missing. So 152, 3spd, and a twin stick 20.

Got it running so the wipers will work for vin inspection and roadworthiness check for going from bill of sale to title.
Once that is done... 5.3LS goes in with NV4500, ORD magnum/205 combo, 60/14 bolt, some K5 blazer or YJ or Waggy leaf springs and 40s go in.

I'd be keen to follow along if you'd care to post details of the LS / NV4500 swap whenever you get around to it.

When the 4.3L in my C1500 finally wears out, I'd like to replace it with an LS. The truck has an NV4500.

We've been known to have winds in the 90s, so those of us that don't like do-overs, landscape and build to it.

The tech from the local company that does the warranty work for Geni Garage Door Openers came as scheduled and installed the new Safety Beam Sensors. This work was done under the "Life Time Warranty" he also adjusted a switch that the installer of the new door missed.

I feel like I have been well treated; the Garage Door Opener was purchased from Home Depot in 1999.
