I have an unmarked and a mac version in 5/8. Something specialty. I'll try and get pics of em later and update. Does yours have a shallow box end opening that almost looks like it was ground down by hand? Thinking it was for low clearance access spot. Makes it kind of weak. My mac one is cracked there

Yes, the box end is narrow. actually thought someone ground it. That’s neat

Thanks to zxrunner posting his wrenches I was able to find a Mac S24 wrench in the 1952 catalog, under it is listed a S25 11/16" 17" long wrench, both for Chrysler fluid drive cars.

Wow that's great, i wonder if it was for accessing the drain bolt, or adjusting something. That Fluid drive seems like a pretty unique trans.

In the Ford part number system, the first set of numbers and letters denotes the approximate year of adoption and the vehicle type. The center set of numbers/letters denotes the application of the part, and the last letters after the dash denotes any changes from the original design.

9N denoted the beginning of the Ford-Ferguson tractors built starting in 1939, with N being the tractor model. A wrench was supplied with these tractors that was used to adjust the plows, and was marked 9N17014. Note that there were no dashes in the forged numbering, which was probably unintentional. These were made by Moore Drop Forging.

Thus, the T4D3-17914-CA wrench was likely related to a Ford farm tractor.
