I'm guessing that's a parts washer or tool cart.

I'm guessing you want the little sheet metal cover thing.

That's not going to be some generic part on a shelf somewhere. You need to provide a lot more details.

Lazy questions get similar efforts on responses

Ok never mind! I figured it was some sort of electrical cover that had a specific name regardless of what it was attached to, which is a Jegs Parts Washer.

Sorry for the “lazy” question..

Questions: Do ******* responses get similar responses on this forum? Are they absolutely necessary? Real questions so I know how I should be and expect others to be as well. Don’t want to be the oddball out if you know what I mean🖕

I’ll figure it out on my own, Cheers!

Imma go with pick up tube coverer thingamabob for a parts washer.

Looks like the one you're pointing to is brand new.

Oh, it's a Jegs parts washer? That would have been a good, helpful bit of information to start with. I guessed it might be a parts washer, but could definitely not be sure because it looks different than the one I used to have. And guessing it was a parts washer, I wondered if it might cover the cord. But again, just a guess.

the original post lacked a lot of information that could have lead to a good answer(s) in my opinion... The GJ collective is very good, but Im not sure how many are capable of knowing a part on a closely cropped picture with very little details.
Just saying...

And that’s fine. I was sitting at a light trying to get the message out before I had to start driving again. I figured it was just a generic cover that someone would immediately know the name of. Geez, I ask a question and was called lazy for. There is no defense for that. Being rude when asking for more information makes the GJ collective look like a bunch of drama queens. I don’t know what the minimum criteria for a post is for every individual. Snip’s was able to provide a solution…. Just saying..

Appreciate the lookout. I’m not sure what the fine is here for using at the lights. However, I refuse to use my for anything other than phone calls while driving regardless of fines. Don’t want to be that guy.
