Altro resin systems?

I'm considering using Altro's ALTRO SCREED QUARTZ on the concrete floor of my garage build.
Anybody on here used it?
How was it to apply?
How does it stand up in use,jacks and stands?
How does it stand up to heavy impacts?

I would say it would be fine for a home garage. It looks like from pictures they use it in high industrial applications.


Looks like it can used in cold to hot environments. Stands up to chemicals ok. Has a high impact resistance. It looks similar to what they use for like around pool areas or something.

What about this product? This is an industrial level vinyl tile a couple notches above standard VCT. Looks to have a static load capacity of 3500psi. That's incredible hard. Regular VCT is between 250-450 psi. It's also not too bad price wise.

Thanks for your input.I was thinking along the same lines.I have a contact that can hopefully,get this stuff at trade price,which is great,but I don't want to jump in with both feet and buy it if it's not suitable.His company have used it but,only in the medical and catering industries with great results.I think it may be what I'm looking for though.
Any details on the industrial vinyl tile you mentioned?A 3500 PSI load capacity would have no problem coping with a '29 Ford!LOL

Yeah i own a flooring store and although I'm not real familiar with altro products, I started researching a good fair priced tile that would hold up in a garage. I figure a lot of people get away with reg vct just fine in a garage, I would imagine something with that amount of load resistance would be more than suitable for a garage. I actually ended up going with a product called decoria which is a little cheaper but has a 1500 psi load rating. Handles fully loaded pallet jacks and everything just fine from what I've heard. It's a shame you live overseas or is be happy to sell it to you and ship it to you at my cost. I think thr shipping would kill you though. That altro product I actually have samples of and I was just playing around hitting a piece of it with a screwdriver end to see how it withstood the impacts and I was pretty impressed. The product appears to be a fairly inexpensive heavy duty floor tile. I'll get you some more info. The other product I toyed with was johnsonite defiant grease and oil resistant rubber tiles, but they were about double the cost of what I went with and I thought that I would be more pissed to damage one of those than the decoria product. I'll be installing soon so I'll let you know the outcome.

Thanks mate,for the info and kind offer of help.Like you say,shipping to the U.K. is a killer.
By coincidence,my son dropped by today with a sample of the Altro Screed.We beat the living **** out of it!LOL
We were both very impressed with its toughness.I think that's the way I'll go.I didn't realise but,my son has actually worked with this stuff and says it's pretty easy to use.Looks like I've got some free labour!
Look forward to see how your installation goes.I'll let you know how I get on too.
