I like that this set comes with a Ph1, PH2, PH3, and PH4. I don't remember last time I needed a PH4 off the farm, but kind of annoyed when a set does not come with a PH3. I think I used them on electrical panels, old cars (door hinges and a few air filters), some farm equipment like a few handcarts... I think my cousin said he used then on some race cars... Hmmm, guess I have used them since I left the farm.

Amazing quality tools. Looking back, I should have bought more back in late 2024 @ Lowes. I feel like we will never see pricing like that again on such good stuff. I remember standing in the aisle when I saw the clearance tags on everything V-Series and thinking to myself that is a really good deal or a really bad deal. Turns out, it was a really good deal and I didn't have the foresight to buy more at the time for the fire sale pricing. I should have bought 2-3 pairs of all the ratcheting wrenches, they had gobs of them in cardboard cartons in the hallway outside the tool section.
I was on Wayback Machine this morning looking at the old V-series website from 2023 for unicorn tools that we may have forgot:

For Craftsman's "premiere" tool line, they sure didn't advertise well. The website was nice enough, but I don't recall Lowes / social media pushing this at all until these were marked down to clearance pricing.
You can still find these all on ebay for very similar prices.
I can think of no reason I skipped out on buying more of the stuff...until I remembered that I'm a cheap, son of a *****.

CMMT87350V for the SAE.
They have a great feel, in my opinion. The ratchet mechanism is smooth with not a lot of back drag. I liked them so much, I turned to FACOM (467 series) to fill in some sizes the Craftsman set excludes. The FACOM wrenches have a few differences, like a circlip on the ratchet end, and an anti-slip profile on the open end.
I love the T-handles, I'd definitely recommend them.The metric reversible ratcheting wrenches arrived today. That completes the wrench drawer
Hex sets arrived. I'm not sure if I will look for the T-Handles or not.
1/4 and 3/8 regular ratchet came in as well.
So you wanted if wasn’t floor model ?Out here looking around and I found this at a Lowe’s far from my normal area I kick around in. Wasn’t listed as in stock on their website. The tool guy said he could ask if they would sell the floor model. I declined and said the line was discontinued. He said it didn’t show as discontinued on his little app.
It would have to be really discounted. I’m happy with what I have.
Oh okay, gotcha. What’s your opinion of those v ratchets ?

If these ever hit clearance, I might bite on either, they are nice. I have way to many toolboxes but nothing in the V-Series line, mostly SO and USG.

That does seem an odd selection of 6. From Facom we have:
A word of warning - if your garage is unheated be very careful with your V-series socket racks. I've broken two clips this week. :-( The garage temperature was a little above freezing. I've never ever broken a socket clip before so this was surprising.
Also you can see on the right-hand rack the magnetic base has come unglued. An easy fix, but disappointing.
I'll try the warranty line and see what happens.
