I bought a used Harley a few years back, had some sticky weights on it. I use balance beads, so when I put new tires on, I had a hell of time prying the sticky’s off. Those things were stuck. So, might try Harley.

I usually take a square of that sticky aluminum tape and put it over the (****** or good sticking) wheel weight so that I'm sure they don't fall off.

My

Buddy has a 76 bronco that he's done a frame off restomod on. So, 50 years old? I bet he'd be pretty upset if the tire shop hammered on some weights to his expensive wheels
Not saying it shouldn't be worried about it, just that I don't. Not driving anything like that. Assuming your buddy doesn't have steel wheels on that tho...
