Their “manufacturing” facility looks like a warehouse with a handful of water jet milling machines, which could be run by a dozen people covering all three shifts. Seems like a marketing thing. A few good warehouse jobs though, or as they call them, product fulfillment.

^ They introduced a bag last year, but the price point was pretty steep.
How did the crisis compare to Atlas 46? I'm a big Canada product. They work great really rugged. I found the same to be true of the Tekton tool rolls.

At it okay. I see that they have pricing up on their new stuff. I thought about getting something like these new roles but I've never used anything similar before.

I did just get a new Atlas 46 bag That probably suits my use patterns better.

Cool. I guess you'd be happier if they shipped those few US manufacturing jobs to Taiwan and do it there for half the price? That'd be better?

They also do injection molding for their small pick and prybar handles and manufacture the pick and prybar shafts in MI. With US materials. They also do plating in house.

But regardless, it'll never be enough, just keep moving the goalposts.

Funny how no one here complains about Capri making nothing themselves and almost everything they sell is from Taiwan. That's fine. But OMG, Tekton needs to make everything here.

I guess if Tekton just shipped all manufacturing to Taiwan, people here would STFU.

Veto Pro Packs are a premium price for a foreign made product. If they manage to come in at slightly above them there is a market for it.

I have no use for a tool roll but if I did I would go that route.

Did they sell out already? $85 to $210 seems a bit steep but, they seem to pack a lot of features into a reasonably sized footprint. I like the bright interior colors on the pouches., and the elastic webbing between pouches for longer tools like a breaker bar. I already have a Yorktown roll and an old Griot's garage tool roll I've had for years so, I'll resist temptation for as long as I can on these. Nicely done!! Tekton needs to hire some Ex Army Parachute Riggers to get the sewing perfect

Like those screwdriver manufacturing jobs?

The whole thing is silly….both sides of the argument.

I have never used a roll like these

I often take tools to the job but that job often seems to need different things. I was given a similar roll but never used it so I gave it to a friend.

Here is another that is similar and their prices are higher. I did not bother checking similarity, but I had at one time considered buying one

I have picks in a "roll" kind of things from Tekton and PB Swiss. I also have them without the roll.

LOVE the Tekton wrench rolls. I have purchased a few different sizes to replace rolls that some wrenches came in and also to create travelling wrench rolls of different sizes. I have found them to be sufficiently robust and nice that I am inclined to expect these new Tekton tool rolls to be good quality.

I might prefer the Atlas 46 wrench rolls but they are much more expensive than the Tekton wrench rolls.

As a side note, these stupid simple Identification Tags are really nice. I have them on my luggage, my camera bag, and even identifying certain tool bags so I know which one to grab; and they are only $5.

Again, happy to see these rolls added to the Tekton line-up, I hope they do well with them.
