I am looking for a Good UL Listed Magnetic Power Strip. Nothing longer than 18 inches and a short cord is just fine. The outlet is about a foot away from where i wanted it mounted. Just something with strong magnets for the side of a metal workbench and something certified that isnt a POS. A lot of the no name popular ones on Amazon get great reviews but they are likely all cheap china stuff and there is no mention of a UL Listing on them. Id rather not burn the place down if i can help it....using junk.

I normally run chargers, the shop vac, a floor carpet dryer style blower fan. Nothing major.....and not all at one.

Does anyone have any recommendations.

You can get a Furman power strip in a steel housing made for protecting high dollar music equipment for up to $50, just add magnets to it.

Here is what HD carries, you may not like the answers

The length may be the killer. Some that look longer show up as <6" which I don't believe for 5 outlets. Lots of choices just poking about, but most were really long, 4-6', thus I put the length criteria in, which may be fouling the results.

I did end up picking up the masterforce one at menards for $30. The magnets are worthless. I plugged in one thing and it fell off. Its going right back to the store.

I have had the HF one, that NUTTSGT mentioned since the white 5 drawer HF carts first came out. The magnets are really strong.

ETL and UL use the same standards. Nearly the exact same tests. ETL is just faster at certification and a bit cheaper than UL.
