Are the penn lights any good? They were like $10 on sale along with the 1000 Slayer. They also had a decent looking small flashlight $19. Anyone use that one either? No 2000 slayer's locally, however.

Keep your eye on the Coast flashlights - I was just cruising through this aisle on the way to the plumbing supplies when the yellow tag caught my eye, and the 60 cents brought me to a screeching halt. 98% off!

I grabbed four. Sure enough, they rang up at that price. And the employee who had appeared out of nowhere to help me at the self checkout noticed, and announced that she was going to grab the rest.

It’s GJ, so all “wants” are actually “needs”.

Like I tell my wife all the time…I’m so glad I found this forum, I never knew I “needed” all these tools!

🤣🤣🤣
I tell my wife nothing because she call me a "cheap summabitch" every time I would tell her I got a cheap deal that was too good to resist.  :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

So I after watching a few videos concerning the RIDGID 18V Subcompact Brushless Cordless One-Handed Band Saw I came to the conclusion that I neither "needed" or "wanted" it. I noticed in the videos I watched that none were using it one handed but holding the motor housing along with the handle. It is light weight at 6.56 lb and produces up to to 580 SFPM. But the Hercules 20V Brushless Cordless Variable-Speed Compact Band Saw is $100 and can be had for less with a coupon or battery deal. By comparison it weighs 7.2 lb. and it's max speed is 635 SFPM. It also comes with a 5yr warranty so if theres an issue it can be replaced the same day if you have a HF nearby and it's in stock.

The Hercules according to the product over view states: "The HERCULES® 20V Brushless Cordless Variable-Speed Compact Band Saw is lightweight and compact enough for overhead work or one-handed use in tight spaces."

This makes me think the RIDGID was really only worth $100 to start with and cheated us out of a handle for a second hand. I noticed reading the reviews this is not the first time this product has been marked down 50%

Thanks again to @Steel_Rain for posting.

That makes bit more sense. Even checked the Milwaukee thread, and wasn't sure. If you can find it instore, the Super charger with 8ah Forge, is down to $227, eventually should be $175.

Yesterday I was hunting for a deal on two fans. My deal wasn’t in the daily deal section nor were there any fans listed. So I dug thru the pro and savings section and waaayyyy deep into one of them I found my deal, but don’t remember which one.

I guess I need to point out it was still a hundred more than the 8/12 deal. But worth it to me.

And the other stuff came today as well

I’m impressed with the super charger. I timed both 12ah straight out of the box to full charge 1hr 2min. I bought these for the vacuum, the run time on 6’s wasn’t cutting it.

FYI on a pair of M12 5.0 batteries.

Home Depot has them as a special buy for $119. Looks to be available for store pick up if your store has stock. Otherwise shipping

Anyone having problems with the Home Depot web site?………. I can’t get into it after multiple attempts today.
I’ve been having issues getting the special buy of the day page to load using the Brave browser, not a new thing. Same thing with West Marine, they repeatedly bring up a human verification page when going link to link. I guess they get mad when they can’t track you to profit from your data.

+1...The constant "are you human" stuff is getting annoying.

I don't mind the security, it's when they force you to allow all kinds of stuff that craps up the user experience (or advanced tracking, etc) to "prove you are human" that really takes the cake.
