I received my CAT wrenches and sockets from a post a few weeks ago. The sockets definitely look like Snap On. I'm not 100% sure about the wrenches as I don't have any Snap-On wrenches to compare. At 20% off from NMC CAT I am very happy no matter what. The CAT dealer provided outstanding service sending them to my APO in Germany.

I’ve got a super long set of GW I bought when I first joined here. I must say they’re been incredible. Hopefully you set is of the same quality.
Well Zoro fd up again, well half way. I got two sets of wera drivers today but they aren’t what ordered. I specifically order the gold tips ones, but at least these are laser tips. At this point I’ll be sourcing my wera stuff somewhere else.
And a pretty robust adjustable hole saw. If anyone else ever has that need, I highly recommend this unit. I bought one for the crew a few years ago and it’s hung strong through all kinds of ceiling material without fail.
I have a similar hole saw that I bought 10-15 years ago. At that time, it was $100-150, a lot of $, but it was worth it for the ~20 holes I drilled. Worked great, beautiful round holes, exactly where you want, no wandering, NO mess. Worth every penny even for that initial use. Mine came in a nice plastic black case.

The CAT wrenches are the same as the Williams Supercombo (Snap-On Industrial brand). Of all of the professional tool lines, these are probably the heaviest that I've seen.

I finally got the Klein fastbit screwdriver. It feels like a refined vessel ball screwdriver. This may be the last screwdriver I'll ever use lol. I also got this cheap work light for $21 just to qualify for same day delivery from Amazon. I am actually impressed with the output, and I won't cry if it got run over or dropped off the lift.

Its ok, the Milwaukee set is excellent. I abuse the snot out of them and the labels stay readable and the sockets hold up very well.

I'm all set to ruin some chisels. Watched a bunch of videos and came to the conclusion this is what I'd try.. I'm certain that there will be a learning curve to this process.

Right, my buddy is in heavy equipment repair (big dog stuff) and has used the 1/2” deep set for a few years without the paint wearing off. He is a forum lurker on here so maybe he post a pic or two for a change
. Oh, and he is a Milwaukee fan boy and loves to work in hot/humid weather (**** you if you’re reading this Mark
).Should be much better than trying to use a utility knife for every small task. $9 on eBay for anyone looking.

I mark my impact sockets with a silver sharpie, and refresh when needed. Not fancy, but pretty effective.

*Some* of the CAT wrenches are snap-on, but I believe the non-ratcheting full size combination wrenches shown are US made Williams and the full size ratcheting combination wrenches are Taiwanese Williams.
The CAT four-way angle wrenches (metric, 559-3896) I think are Snap-On, and the CAT flare nut wrenches (214-7335) as well, but only available in SAE sizing, no metric. I think the short combination wrenches as well (metric, 567-6839).
The chromie sockets are definitely Snap On, and I think the impact sockets as well.
Cat certainly doesn't make it easy to decipher what is what... Their website is absolutely terrible and the pdf catalog only marginally better.

The tools handles show "W. Germany" (possibly made in West Germany?).….
