there are some prints that doesnt work on. like the handle. too much drooping.

but yea the 8mm nozzle is willdddd for technical large prints.
I cannot get the headrest screw to work at all when printed on the 0.6

I think the screw itself is fine and the issue is the headrest. Printed the headrest 3x today and the screw 2x. Doesn't tighten

When are you thinking updates will be ready to test? Hoping to start #3 next week, but I can bump it, but it can also be for testing

Gotcha. We (the HS) may be sponsoring a print for an Elem. student and going to do it in school colors, hence the "two-tone". I see the files on the plates, but was lacking the "vision" to see how it would make sense fully assembled and look good color wise.
If it would help, I'm happy to share my file

Thanks, I will let you know. I am going to "supervise" some of my Solidworks kids to run the printers (thinking at least 2x overall). Right now, they are all running .4 nozzles, but I have a spare .6 or two. Just got in touch with Elementary Special Needs person at the district level, and waiting for the official "go-ahead".

Sounds good. The 0.4 results in great quality, just a little slow.

I would strongly recommend bumping up to 3 walls from 2

Try using AI to write your emails. I hear it works great for things like that.:wtf:

i give it an outline. it cleans it up and organized it for me.

i'd say at this point 99% of mines go thru the AI lens.

Just so everyone can see the results. @jeepxj have you reached out to any other online makes spaces like the 3D printer sub on reddit?
That isn't your make, right?

I responded to him a week or so ago to make sure he knew the footrest is backwards, but didn't get a reply.

I love that color scheme and want to do one similar, but finding pink Petg is tough.

I posted a chair to r/functional print a couple weeks ago and good a good response.

I can share a bit of the behind the scenes on what I put together from a tech standpoint.

I put together an automated out reach program. It looks at requests by location, then auto scrapes the internet looking for maker spaces, 3d clubs, engineering schools, NGOs, libraries and emails them. Its got a smart cool down feature that no email address gets more than 1 out reach email a month regardless of the scouting mission.

they get a variation of this outreach email:

1773102762235.png

And they are sent in the local language + english.

Tweaking things to include more A/B testing logic so we can see what converts out reach to makers better.

Just got word that we are a go at my HS. Got the filament on order thru the bookkeeper (probably tomorrow).

Now to see if we can figure out how to add a DXF image across the wheels of the mascot... Going Purple and Yellow, with a "Opal" rainbow TPU (purple to yellow green to clear).

there are 4 pin holes to push out the keepers that lock the wheels together. you could readily make a plate that screws into those holes.

The step files are posted to the make good Google drive
