Saw this toolbox this morning after it showed up on craigslist. I took the money and had my trailer hooked to my truck. I was going to beat everyone in the county over to pick it up. I got there and the best I could offer was 250. The KRA59 looked OK but the 650 looked like it had been in Hurricane Katrina. That thing was rough. Some kid is supposed to come up from Charleston to buy it tommorow. He tried to give the guy a credit caard over the phone to buy it. He will be glad when he gets there that he didn't buy it sight unseen.

I thought "how bad can it be" Pretty damn bad as I found out. If he had taken 250 I would have done a resto on the 650

I would have loved to have that bottom box as long as it didn't rack. Maybe for not so much though.

yeah pictures can be deceiving. When I was looking at buying a car on craigslist I found one at a good price that listed it in good condition with no flaws and the pics looked great. I got there and the side that was photographed was all dented and only the outside was painted to "freshen it up".

CL is funny on pictures.

I've bought something north of 100 boxes on CL, sold a lot more than that.

Pictures LIE.

Seriously, I've seen lots that look way worse in the picture, and others that the pictures concealed more than they showed

My pictures must usually understate.
Out of all the boxes I've sold only one box didn't sell to the first person that saw it. He said it looked better in the picture. The second person bought it, though.
Every other box went to the first viewer.
