I bought a 29" long set of wrench holders off my missing Snap On dealer a couple months ago.

This is a long plastic strip sold in pairs that has the notches to hold my end wrenches on edge, black in color with a double sided tape on the back, (I never peeled it and they work fine sitting on my non slip liners) they are pretty simple and damn handy.

I need at least 3 more sets.

Any idea where I can buy them?

Excellent, ordered them straight from Ernst without the double sided tape for 10 bucks a set.

Thanks:bowdown:

the SO racks hold 22 wrenches the ernst have slots for up to 40

The 40 wrench set is actually 2 sets of rails that hold 20 wrenches each. I just ordered 2 sets (total 4 sets/8 rails) from Summit a couple of days ago they should be delivered today. I'll get them into my box and take a pic either later today or tomorrow.

The Ernst unit is a cut to length single rail with 40 slots sold in pairs.

I need to buy some wrench rails and figure I'll go for Ernst or snap on.

On the Ernst and SO rails, at what size wrench do the ends of the wrench touch the btm of the box?

Ernst=
snap on KRA15A small wrench=
snap on KRA22A big wrench=

Thanks

As long as you have something to provide friction against the smooth edge you should be fine. Just as the OP stated he uses them on his liners. Besides that the weight of the wrenches on the rack should keep it stationary.

The only problem I have.....Those racks take up extra room.

Between each wrench is a "small" space, and I can't afford to waste any room. I do have a large tool box, but there just isn't any room left, and if I used some type of holder, I'd loose a ton of space. My wrenches are just leaned up against the side of the drawer, and piled against each other. All the other space in the box is filled.

I couldn't fit all my C-man professional wrenches in the drawer without them being stacked on top of eachother without these rails. Once I added the rails, I actually have more room, but then again I am not putting more than 40 wrenches in a single drawer so like everything else YMMV.

WOW, didn't seen any stacked....now I'm gonna' have to check out more of those threads! But wouldn't it be a pain to have to move tools to get to tools?
