You beat me to it! I was just about to post about it although I was gonna say I thought it was darn cool. On my BMW I end up having to put the thing up on ramps first to get my rack under the center support under the engine. Otherwise I can't fit the jack under there, and I can't jack it up from the sides because that's where the jack stands need to go too. So if it wasn't 300 I'd get it.
Definitely cheaper staying with the ramps ... of course my RaceRamp ramps cost close to $200 ...

True, although they are a pain to work with in my opinion. In my garage the car just barely fits in there so I try to get it just in far enough to get the door shut behind it. What I need to do is mark exactly where to put the ramps on the floor to make it easier next time. As it is I end up calling out my wife to help me line them up as I pull it in.
Do the race ramps raise it higher than the normal ramps or are they just designed for a car with a very low front spoiler?
It's designed for low profile cars with very low front spoiler; I also have 2 pair of Rhino Ramps for normal cars ..
Yeah, kinda of neat idea, just not sure if it would be a PITA or not to use... Almost looks like something you would catch on an info-merical.
I will probably pick up the 39pc Tap and Die set, if its anything like my father's 35+ year old set, it should be fine for my needs...and a $10 off coupon helps. Thats one more thing off my "list".

Last time I tried to buy a tap and die set, they sales guy pulled the exact tap I needed off the shelf so I left with just it instead of the whole set unfortunately. I almost justified getting the whole set but couldn't quite.

Meh... don't really need anything. And for the record, I think that the jack/jackstand thing is kind of retarded. Seems like another gimmick from Craftsman, especially considering the "outstanding" track record that Cman jacks have. I have heard less complaining about HF jacks...

In my case I found it interesting because it was keep me from having to put the car up on ramps, to use the jack, to place the jackstands.
But you're right, if the quality of it is equal to some other there other offerings, it'll be a weird looking piece of scrap.

ARGH.
We'll see if I pick either up, now.
I'm ****-retentive that way. I don't really "need" either of them, but they'd be a nice-to-have.
At the same time, I don't want one set unless I can have both.
There's something wrong with me...
On the other hand, my shopping list for this Sunday is getting bigger. I'm getting:
One of the tool chest combos on sale
3pc thin profile ratchets
3pc prybars
SAE Crossforce Wrenches
Metric Crossforce Wrenches
Vise
and a bunch of other little stuffs.
It's a sickness, I tell you.

It's a sickness. All I needed the other day was the 19mm crow foot wrench, but of course I wanted the SAE/Metric 18 piece set from sears. Man was I pissed when all they had in stock was the 10 pc metric set.
