Big 1” Proto ratchet (I think) with removable handle? No markings on it —Not finding much info on it online. Who’s familiar with this style? Thanks.

Makes sense …with no markings it had me scratching my head —wish I had the handle

That looks like a CDI torque wrench head. The bigger ones had swappable heads so you could put either a ratchet head or a open end/box end/non ratcheting socket wrench style head for different applications. I don't recall ever see numbers on the early heads.

This one is not quite as old as the one you have and is the fixed version. I couldn't find an swappable version pic. Snapon bought them out eventually but the snap on versions would have a snapon head vs the ones sold as CDI. In fact if you buy a CDI branded one today in the 1/2" size it has a similar designed head.

Hmmm some similarities there but it sure looks closer to the Koken 8749 -not sure how Koken labeled their ratchets tho

No markings on this one at all…and I used a magnifying glass
