The fuel tank from the ZIL-131 military truck. My neighbor in the garage gave it to me a few years ago. And yes, I don't smoke.
Today I went back to work on the fuel tank and the chair. I had to disassemble everything again, redo the fuel intake and install another seat. It was uncomfortable with the old chair, it was high, and my feet couldn't reach the pedals properly. Now I have a comfortable seat and a working (almost accurate) fuel level indicator.

All around the world, ****** is indeed the operating word alright, but the difference is based on three major properties, namely
1- The color of ****!
2- The level of the foul odor of the ****!
3- The viscosity of the ****!
The above properties will vary from country to country.
Now, as we all know “**** rolls downhill” and most of us pions, live at the very bottom of said hill.
So then you ask, how do these properties affect one’s level of frustration and discontent? Well, for example if you live in a country where this **** is viscous, then it will roll up on you slower and you have a chance to try to dodge the ****. The level of foul odor is self explanatory. The color is just a matter of esthetics (how good does a freaking politician look).
In conclusion, all around if the world, we, the pions, are all at the mercy of this **** but some of us are affected by it more than others

We have a movie called Idiocracy from 2006-ish. We're definitely on the path to it.
Once again, I returned to work with the seat on the tractor. I used an office chair, added horizontal adjustment to it. Now I can adjust my driving position more comfortably.
And again about our daily lives. Early yesterday morning, I was woken up by sirens and a loud explosion in the sky. As it turned out later, a cruise missile was shot down almost over my house. It was very loud.

Yes, it's scary. But somehow it has already become commonplace and there is no panic. It's just uncomfortable and frustrating that nothing can be done about it.

My great aunt/cousin expressed the same thing after living through the London bombing during WWII. Many folks didn't even bother taking shelter after a while.

After a bad experience, I periodically check my spare tire pressure. As well as carrying a portable air pump in each car.
Many years ago, I was on my way to a job interview. I generally leave 30 to 60 minutes early just to give myself a margin of error in case something unexpected happens. This time, I had left 40 minutes early.
On the way there, while on the highway just before my exit, I got a flat tire. I pulled over onto the shoulder. I was dressed in a white shirt, a suit, and a tie. It was late October, there was a constant drizzle, and the temperature was just above freezing.
I took off my jacket and tie and rolled my white shirt sleeves as high up my arms as I could. I then had a heck of a time loosening the stupid lug nuts. I finally managed to get the wheel off, but when I grabbed the spare donut, I realized there was almost no air pressure in it. Up to that moment, I had never needed to use a spare tire. I had no choice but to put the donut on anyway.
I then drove very slowly, at about five miles per hour, and made it to the company with barely two minutes to spare.
As I was putting my tie back on, I noticed the dirt all over my wet white shirt, my hands, and everywhere else. I put my jacket on and buttoned it up in an attempt to cover the dirt on my shirt.
I walked in and the office administrator greeted me. She turned out to be an absolute sweetheart, and I must add, she was very good-looking too. She looked at me and said, "Wow honey, what happened to you?" I explained the situation, and she said, "Listen, go to the restroom and clean up as much as you can. I will go talk to the interview team and keep them busy."
God bless Georgia. She saved the day, and I did get the job.

Vlad, I was seeing the recent news and wondering how you were doing. It is so very good to see you post. Interesting about the gas shortage as between many events supply delivery has been disrupted.
Hopefully working on the tractor allows time for your mind to concentrate enough and draw away from the rest of the doings.

Too many missiles and drones have reached the refineries. This caused disruptions in the supply of gasoline.
