I call that the FWIF (**** with it factor). The older you get, the more the FWIF comes into play, and the more you're willing to pay for stuff to be done.

Moved a few logs the other day. I may never get a side by side but even then, I couldn't get the log into the back of it. This was I just drag it to the back. LOL The $295 winch has paid for itself many, many times over. LOL

Stopped by the resale shop and saw this window, a Jenweld for $25. New is around $250. I'm going to see how it looks on the west wall of the garage whenever they decide to bring it and build it. LOL

This slab is slicker than a marble countertop. I'm not doing the sparkle flake epoxy thing. I'll seal it and that's it. I had no idea the concrete made heat. While curing it was 89 degrees and the dirt beside it was 74 degrees. Cool science fact.

We took a "Hard Hat" tour of it many years ago. Went into the bowels of the dam, walked out a tunnel to a grate right on the face, etc. It is truly a sight to see. It's all done in art-deco style, the machine room is so clean you could probably eat off the floor - it's just beautiful. Well worth it.
