A set of NOS Würth ball hex drivers.
Before the current model of Zebra screwdrivers were introduced, Würth sold rebranded Wera drivers. Did I need these? Maybe not, but they fit nicely in my Wera collection. Have to rearrange the tool wall to make them fit.

And let me guess, did they too try to say you needed to renew your ITC? They did that with me once, literally a week after I renewed online as I'd let it lapse as for the longest time, I didn't go to HFT (especially when I have a Proto dealer not 10 minutes from my house, and HFT is almost a half-hour--and I was expanding with the old SK stuff that same mine and industrial supply was practically paying me to take). There's one cashier that constantly tries to upsell too. Meanwhile, with the mine supply--it basically equates to--call the guy in the office, hand him the cash, and go home. Or if I am stuck with the card (I think they don't take card payments under $50), go in the tool area with the manager, grab whatever old stuff that I like that hasn't probably sold since I was in diapers--and then go home.

No, she didn't but I sent an email to customer service you see if there's any online resolve...drive to that store isn't worth the discrepancy.

Did visit different store at 0800 and ordered a 56" slate gray box.

Not sure if I missed something in this mini ratchet thread on the Utoku that four.cycle mentioned -- I didn't see a link. Thought I'd mention they are available for $20 - $24 from ABD tools: https://abdtoolsandsupply.com/collections/ratchets/bit-ratchet. I haven't purchased from ABD but am looking at a couple of things.

Going to try to get the rockers of my Van cleaned up, masked and painted today. Lots of rattle-can work and the ol' trigger finger ain't what it used to be. "Arthritis friendly"--we'll find out.

I found myself needing a long, zero-offset, box-end 9/16 while wrenching on the antique, so I bought these. I don't expect to use them often, so I saw no need for top-dollar stuff.

I guess this can be used on large fasteners, but I’ve only used this on small stripped out screws on an electronic enclosure so far. Not really sure how often that the need for this type of hand impact will come up and I have other options for this, which are bulkier though. What’s I found impressive was the bit. It’s a PH2.



Vessel has this style bit for other fasteners, but they have been difficult to source. This video shows them.

My local CAT dealer seems to run a tight ship, I placed an order after hours on Thursday, asked for these by the 30th and here they are.

Well thanks to YouTube, I went down a rabbit hole that cost me a ton of money.

I have been debating buying my dad's New Holland skid steer since he is getting too old to use it or even get up into it. It is an older machine but low hours and in good shape, just needs a deep cleaning. It is covered in moss and grease and looks way older than it is. Anyway, my phone must've heard me thinking about that and suddenly my video suggestions are for detailing heavy equipment.

This made me realize im lacking in a good pressure washer. I still wasnt pulling the trigger on it until my wife actually tried using the pressure washer I do have and complaining about its lack of power when cleaning a rug. So that settled it, she was onboard, so I ran out and got the most powerful one I could find that I didnt have to order.

A Simpson Powershot 4000 psi 3.5 gpm unit. Compared to my 1700 psi Stihl electric pressure washer, this thing is a beast.


As far as accessories, I picked up some wand extensions, a stainless turbo nozzle, and undercarriage sprayer, rubber hose to replace the stiff plastic hose, and a reel to keep the hose organized on the pressure washer. And of course a short nozzle since I dont need 3 feet of wand for everything and using a soap cannon is a pain way out front.

I am still waiting on them so I dont have any pictures yet.

I also bought a few other tools for a few jobs I have coming up.

I need to do a cam swap on a Ford 1.5l. But first need to cut open the oil filter to see if metal glitter is in the system. So to do that I needed an oil fikter cutter.



And of course a cam timing tool for said engine.



And for a different job, I need to find a short in a wire on my truck. I first need to test the wire connectors and figured a backstab kit would be handy.

And then when looking at Powerprobe short finding tool, I ran across this much cheaper knockoff. Figured for the price I would give it a try.
