This was a hit on past HJE days.

Website still shows it, but -83 in stock, so I have no idea if it's still around. $2.50!

I just thought of this, stumbled across it looking for a nail set.

How do I know if I am getting the GJ prices? Yes, I’ve shopped in the past but still am unsure.

Jori details all of the rules and procedures here:

Not everything's a sale, but some things are. I think I bungle the discount code issue every year, it might be the way I pay and what kind of computer page it takes me to. (shrug)

Yes I’ve already seen his post and followed the procedure. I am inquiring how can I verify myself that I am actively reading GJ pricing.

Ah, so GJ prices are only applicable on closeouts?
Yes, the items he listed at the bottom of that post are the ones that are discounted for HJE Day.

Other items, in the first part of the post he wrote, different promotions if you buy certain amounts of other brands, like being entered into a raffle that will happen later.

HJE day is about supporting American tool manufacturers and an independent family hardware store. One of the neat things about HJE is that the normal prices on some things are already great -- they're closeouts or new old stock found in a warehouse in Ohio. That Nicholson rasp? Made in USA. You don't find Nicholson files made in USA anymore. Some of these warehouse finds date back to WWII/Korean war surplus found in a warehouse all of three years ago. You never know what a manufacturer is going to make a deal with on them for last year's models or overstock or whatever -- like the recent German Felo tool haul a year ago. All those Felo prices are great, considering where they started in life.

There's a 15% (I think) discount on Koken, new Japanese tools, not seconds, blems, or overstocks. That requires its own discount code. Koken (ratchets, socket) and Vessel (screwdrivers, bits) are new products from Japan that HJE has decided to carry because they're really good, and thanks to exchange rates, prices are very good considering the quality.

And don't forget the dental picks!

Yes I know, I’ve been supporting HJE for quite a long time. In fact, I helped start another SK Day if anyone still remember them. It just has been a few years since the last time I placed an Epstein’s Day order with them though, so I just could not recall for sure how to verify something is working. I did place a couple orders; I just wanted to be sure I was not missing out, nothing more. Thank you

So I just placed two quick orders under the wire just before midnight. I would’ve done this sooner but my town just got steamrolled with 105 mph straight line winds and a tornado on the evening of July 2nd, just hours before the start of Epstein’s Day. So instead of spending my weekend taking my time to shop online, I was hauling **** cleaning up trees and debris for days. It is like a war zone in town with countless trees, buildings, elevators, electric infrastructures damaged and destroyed. The entire town was in the dark but slowly are getting power back. It will take weeks to clean up and make repairs etc. It was the worst storm I’ve ever seen. Miraculously and thankfully no injuries, but unfortunately our 4th of July events had to be canceled (except for the fireworks).

Anyway, I would have liked to take the time to thoroughly put my orders together, but I came back home last night just an hour prior to midnight, so I just ordered what I can barely think off my head. Two large Wright wrench sets via two separate orders, so I could get two shirts to last me for awhile. Also the Klein HD lineman pliers, their carrying pouch for that pliers (I just hope the pouch is decent quality) Norseman Vortex bit set and a Piginor weeder. Pretty sure I’d have liked to order some other stuff, but that’s the best I could do to get the orders in before the conclusion of Epstein’s Day. Just about to head out soon to help a disabled veteran buddy clean up his yard. Hope you guys all had a good and enjoyable weekend. Good luck and enjoy your new tools 🧰

I forgot to order the USA 250 pliers on my original order so I placed another small order for them and a mystery box. I was very happy to see the mystery item! I received tracking on my main order this morning. :)

I have not received mine yet, but the handles look like some that I really like so I ordered two pair.

I just got my first (small) order from HJE this afternoon!
I'm a first-timer and I thought I would just dip my toe in the water for the first time.
Box art and a discount on Knipex.
I think I'm hooked.

If you want to carry a wee Knipex like that on your belt, check out Etsy, there are holster craftsmen/women making all sorts of neat holsters for various Knipeces.

My 2nd order arrived today. My first order was bigger with box art requested. So that will take some time with the amount of orders HJE received for this year’s Epstein’s Day.
Fenix 2800 Lumen Flashlight. Impressive on turbo mode for a small light.
Wilde 7” & 12” Cotter Key Extractors
Cee Tee pliers were sent for my Mystery Box
Thanks Jori and the HJE crew. It’s great to see all those orders in support of your ongoing commitment to Made In The USA tools and products.
